OUR POLICY STATEMENT ON QUALITY ASSURANCE
 
NUGA INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED; is a youthful, compact and resourceful company of portfolio management , run by young & dynamic professionals with a strong emphasis on utility, efficiency and prompt service delivery to our respected and valued clients.

Our operational posture simply implies:

  • To consistently and persistently recognize our clients’ expectations and while matching them, strive to exceed these expectations in all our transactions.
  • To maximize our operation efficiency in rendering quality services to our clients, through constant research and development of our customer relation functions, thereby ensuring and sustaining their optimum satisfaction with our services.
  • To satisfy our clients’ contractual requirements and the statutory regulations with regards to performance, safety and reliability of the product(s).

Hence, our quality policy crystallizes in effective and efficient services culture and result oriented activity (ies). We believe in meeting deadlines with time to spare. Our orientations are quite consistent with all other operating companies .These orientations are as follows:

  • To achieve our objectives through putting into operation, efficient and quality work ethics, meeting the requirement of applicable standard quality systems.
  • Our staff tradition is to apply total quality management system in any activity that represents us, and thereby consistently, through rigorous research, development and re-evaluation of our process of functionality, our delivery to our clients and improve whenever the opportunity arises.

    Our key objective at NUGA INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED is to provide above specified functions in a manner which conforms to the contractual and regulatory obligations. The achievement will however be accomplished by regular use of procedures, work instructions and periodic auditing to ensure compliance with laid down rules and regulations.

  • To achieve our set goal, NUGA INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED; places premium priority on sustaining an actively, efficient and effective quality assurance programme, interwoven with all managerial processes.

NUGA INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED CASHES, DRUG & ALCOHOL, SECURITY / ACCESS CONTROL POLICIES

POLICY STATEMENT AND HEALTH POLICY

NUGA INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED is committed to ensuring the maintenance of good health of all employees and as a result, will assist the employees to take care of their own health by providing medical facilities, medical personnel, advice and necessary medical support.

This policy shall exclusively stand for the following areas:
Prior to employment, personnel shall be medically examined in order to assess the individual’s fitness for work.

All employees are expected to undergo a periodic medical examination which shall be done on a yearly basis.

Every work site including Base shall have an emergency First Aid Clinic manned by a Registered Nurse to handle all first aid cases.

ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION POLICY
It is a primary concern of NUGA management to ensure the conservation of the environment. All duties and responsibilities for the environment lie in line organization, starting with top management through line supervisors to all employees.
The key element of our environmental management system is based on responsible and efficient waste management which can reduce operating costs and potential liabilities.

NUGA, for itself and its contractors has set the following objectives:

  • To conduct all its operation / activities in such a way as to avoid harm to the environment.
  • To reduce waste generation during our activities and control of waste discharges to prevent pollution of the environment
  • To adhere strictly to environmental standards including those imposed by legislation
  • To educate all employees and contractors’ employees on our environmental management system (EMS)

Activities identified as unhealthy and environmentally dangerous MUST be suspended or not to be started when the employee considers such activity as not in accordance with the policy, but must report it immediately to their supervisor for action.

CASHES POLICY STATEMENT
NUGA activities will be planned and executed in such manner as:

To prevent any injury to its own employees and of other persons (public), that may be connected to our activities / operations.

Management of health, safety and environment will surely constitute an integral part of NUGA’S day to day business.

Staff at all levels will be trained to identify and recognize for all their work:
The implication of their health and that of others around them

The impact which the activities may have on the environment
The measures to promote peaceful co-existence with host communities and level of security risk and finally the standard and requirements between NUGA and our clients will be maintained in uniformity with no distinction.

The CASHES policy in practice stands for:
Provision of adequate contingency plans that will be in place to cater or cope with the results of incidents that may unavoidably occur

Every NUGA employee must plan and perform his or her day to day job in accordance with this policy

Supervisor will be held accountable for HSE tasks and targets. Activities identified as unsafe, unhealthy and / or environmentally dangerous MUST NOT BE EMBARKED UPON it shall be SUSPENDED when the employee considers such activity as not in accordance with the policy; but such employee must report it immediately to his / her supervisor for action.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY STATEMENT
NUGA is committed to creating a healthy and productive workplace for its employees. Any employee under the influence of alcohol, drug and any other such substance at work clearly breaches this policy.

In order to achieve our aims, the following must be adhering to:
No employee should report or be at work under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances that are prohibited by law.

The use, possession, distribution applies to the illicit use of legal drugs.

Any employee found contravening this policy could face severe disciplinary action including dismissal as deterrent.

SECURITY / ACCESS CONTROL POLICY
NUGA is committed to ensure the adequate security and protection of all personnel and property of all NUGA business premises or installations.
All persons entering any NUGA work premises shall be registered with personnel-on-board (POB) to ensure accountability at Entry / Exit point.
No firearms or any kind of dangerous weapons is allowed into our premises except for authorized police and security agents.
No equipment shall be changed or removed out of work site(s) base without written authority (exit permit) signed by a recognized Manager or Officer.
